HI Ladies!

Before I talk about the mascara, I want to give you a little background on Eddie Funkhouser and his cosmetic line. Eddie is a world renown makeup artist that has traveled the world making women beautiful. He wanted to create a line of makeup that was not only high quality and one of a kind, but also attainable to all women. As a result, the Eddie Funkhouser brand was created. I first was introduced to Eddie and his line from a Wantable Twitter chat. I thought it was so cool that he was willing to chat with his fans and give them makeup advice. He is very active in Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and will respond to your messages! He also has an "ask Eddie" email address where you can email him about beauty advice, application, and his products. I think his willingness to connect to his customers and fans is HUGE. It shows that he truly appreciates all his fans/customers and takes the time to make them feel special.

On to this amazing mascara!

Quattro Variable Lash Mascara in Absolute Black $12.99

Here is what is said about the mascara on the Eddie Funkhouser site:
"The award-winning QUATTRO VARIABLE LASH MASCARA features our revolutionary FX DIAL for a completely customizable application from natural to extreme lashes—like having 4 mascaras in 1.  With each click, the unique flexible brush twists for a more intense dose of mascara, coating each individual lash with super black pigment for maximum length, volume and curl. The conditioning formula features an innovative blend of waxes and polymers that create fullness without flaking, clumping or smudging.
TURN THE FX DIAL TO AMP UP LASHES:
• = Subtly enhances the eyes by lengthening and separating the lashes
•• = Gently amp’s up the eyes by bringing lashes closer together creating medium density
••• = Super defining for uniform style while boosting lash density
•••• = Amplifies volume and provides maxed out length"
To create the different looks, you just twist the dial on the end of the wand to each of the different settings listed above. Each dial basically twists the brush tip more and more to create different looks. I honestly was a little skeptical at first when I saw that this brush tip was rubber/non-bristle. I mainly only use mascaras with the regular bristles because I haven't had luck with the rubber brushes in the past. However, when I used this mascara, I was immediately hooked! This mascara makes my lashes look AMAZING! The formula is perfect and applies to your lashes beautifully. I didn't experience any flaking or raccoon eyes throughout the day and the product came off fairly easy with a makeup wipe.
Below is a picture of my lashes without any mascara
I apologize for the creepy closeups but this was the best way to show you the differences in my lashes.
Below are pictures of  my lashes using the four different settings:
1: Lengthens and separates
The first setting separates my lashes and lengthens a little bit. It doesn't give much volume or density. I would say this is the most natural lash look of the four settings.

2: Adds density for the look of fuller lashes
The second setting does make my lashes appear more dense. It gives some volume but nothing super dramatic.
3: Adds definition and density
The third setting definitely defines your lashes. I feel like it also lengthens a bit as well.

4: Adds volume and length
I think the fourth setting is my favorite of the bunch. It definitely gave my lashes volume and drama. I prefer a more dramatic lash look since I don't always wear eyeliner to work. This setting gives just that with only a few coats of mascara.

1 & 4: This isn't a setting but rather a tip that Eddie suggests for super dramatic lashes. He says to first use dial and apply two coats. Let it dry then add a few coats of dial 4. This will add mega volume, length, and definition.
I was so impressed with this setting! It makes my lashes super dramatic almost to the point where it looks like I am wearing false lashes. I love dramatic lashes so this was my favorite look that the mascara created.
The Quattro Variable Lash Mascara recently won the HBA Global 2014 International Package Design Award which is really exciting!

In this picture, I used both the 1st and 4th mascara settings:
Overall, I thought that this mascara was amazing! I have never heard of or used anything quite like this before. I am so impressed with how it makes my lashes look. The price tags is also a great deal! From length and definition to mega volume and separation, this mascara is 4 wands in 1 for only $12.99! I think it is well worth the money and plan to purchase this once my current tube runs out.

Eddie Funkhouser just announced that they are now shipping to over 180 countries with new international shipping rates.
